چکیده
The apple ermine moth, Yponomeuta malinellus Zeller, 1838 (Lepidoptera Yponomeutidae), is a common pest of trees in Asia and Europe, it has spread to North America. In growing regions Turkey, the population this may increase from time time, requiring separate control measure. such cases, Turkish growers generally rely on synthetic insecticides pest. present study aimed evaluate indigenous isolates some entomopathogenic fungi (EPFs) against as potential biological agents. pathogenicity tests, 14 EPF that belong 4 fungal species [Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill. – 7, Clonostachys rosea (Link) Schroers 3, Isaria farinosa (Holmsk.) Fr. 2 Purpureocillium lilacinum (formerly known Paecilomyces lilacinus (Thom) Samson) Luangsa-ard, Houbraken, Hywel-Jones & Samson 2] were assayed 4th instar larvae Y. under laboratory conditions. All tested with three different conidial suspensions (1 × 107, 1 108 109 conidia ml-1), using spray method. results assays demonstrated effectiveness increased increasing concentration elapsed up 9 days after treatment. Of tested, 3 B. (BbDm-1, BbDs-2 BbKm-3) most pathogenic, causing mortalities between 96.7% 100% at highest post suggest pathogenic above-mentioned have significant biocontrol malinellus.

متن کاملPotential of Entomopathogenic Fungi as Biopesticides
The growing demand for reducing chemical inputs in agriculture and increased resistance to insecticides have provided great impetus to the development of alternative forms of insect-pest control. Entomopathogenic fungi are potentially the most versatile biological control agents due to their wide host range. These fungi comprise a diverse group of over 90 genera with approximately 750 species, ...
متن کاملPotential of endophytic fungi as biocontrol agents of Duponchelia fovealis (Zeller) (Lepidoptera:Crambidae).
This study reports the first assessment of endophytic fungi isolated from strawberry leaves and selection of isolates for the control of Duponchelia fovealis, a new pest of strawberries. A total of 400 strawberry leaves of the cultivar 'Albion' were collected in four commercial farms. Leaves were disinfected, cut in fragments, and placed on Petri dishes containing potato dextrose agar media wit...
متن کاملScanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis and biological control of Ixodes ricinus using entomopathogenic fungi
In the present study, pathogenicity of four native strains of Entomopathogenic fungus; Metarhizium anisopliae, was studied against adult stage of Ixodes ricinus. For this purpose a total number of 180 adult ticks were examined in triplicate. Thirty ticks for each strain and negative and positive controls were immersed in 2.4×107 fungal conidia/ml in vitro. Samples were incubated in separate Pet...
متن کاملMolecular Phylogeny of the Small Ermine Moth Genus Yponomeuta (Lepidoptera, Yponomeutidae) in the Palaearctic
BACKGROUND The small ermine moth genus Yponomeuta (Lepidoptera, Yponomeutidae) contains 76 species that are specialist feeders on hosts from Celastraceae, Rosaceae, Salicaceae, and several other plant families. The genus is a model for studies in the evolution of phytophagous insects and their host-plant associations. Here, we reconstruct the phylogeny to provide a solid framework for these stu...
